Please allow several seconds for your 60 Second Marketer video to load completely.

If you want, you can forward this video to a friend. Just wait for the video to load, then select the little bullet-point icon on the right side just below the screen. That'll bring up an envelope icon, which is the "forward to a friend" button. Yeah, it's a little complex, but it's still easier than doing your taxes.

5 Ways to Get More Traffic for Your Company Blog

The purpose of a corporate blog is to build trust and engagement with customers and prospects. The more traffic you have, the more likely you’ll be able to convert prospects to customers.

Here are 5 ways you can attract more traffic to your company blog.

1. Don’t talk about yourself. Instead, talk about your visitor – what are their interests? Their needs? Their pain points?

2. Stay focused on one topic. Research shows that visitors are looking for expertise they don’t have. Stay focused on your one area of expertise.

3. Have a personality. Unlike traditional media, blogs tend to have a personality or a point-of-view. Adding spice to your blog is a great way to keep readers coming back for more.

4. Include search terms in your titles and copy. Search engine spiders match blog titles and copy to common searches on the internet. Be sure to leverage that to your benefit.

5. Post blogs at least 3 times a week. Some, but not all, research indicates that frequency of posts leads to better SEO.

These five techniques can be used as a way to drive more visits to your blog.
